Sometimes we all need to talk things over, and being able to speak to someone else could mean the difference between a good day and a really tough one.
If you would like to access further support, please contact the North of England team to find out more about what support we have available in your area.
Email north@diabetes.org.uk or call us on 01925 653 281.
You can also contact our Helpline, to get specialist information and advice on all aspects of living with diabetes.
All groups welcome new members – if you'd like more information about any of the groups please email north@diabetes.org.uk.
We also have family groups, which cater for children with diabetes and their parents.
Local groups offer information and support, and the chance to meet other people who live with diabetes. Local Groups can also offer you the opportunity to get involved in a range of activities from fundraising for diabetes research to influencing healthcare locally.
If there isn't a local group in your area the volunteering team can provide you with help and resources to set one up. Please send an email, including your full postcode, to north@diabetes.org.uk.
