Diabetes information hubs in local libraries
We’ve introduced information and access to support for people living with diabetes into a growing number of libraries across Scotland.
By providing access to health information, support and services within local community settings, we'll help more people understand the condition and benefit from help available.
Resources will help you build your confidence in managing your type 2 diabetes and learn more about how to live well with diabetes. There’s also information to help you understand your risk of developing type 2 diabetes as well as on prevention and remission of diabetes.
You can take leaflets away with you, or download many of our leaflets in different languages online. Our diabetes information hubs are open to everyone.

Join our Learning Zone to access courses, videos, quizzes and interactive tools for managing diabetes day-to-day, all for free. They're tailored just for you using special category data relating to your health and ethnicity that we'll ask as you register.
Our Know Your Risk tool can also help you to check your risk of developing type 2 diabetes. It only takes a few minutes and we'll point you to more information and resources to help you reduce your risk.
