As a charity, we respect and value the diversity of our staff, who bring a breadth of experience, knowledge, perspectives and skills to our work.
We are committed to equality, diversity and inclusion in all our practices, including the recruitment and reward of our workforce. Whilst it is not a legislative requirement like gender pay gap reporting, in May 2020 we undertook analysis of our payroll to understand any potential ethnicity-based pay gap.
We are reassured by the fact that we have no ethnicity pay gap. We recognise that there is more we can do to ensure greater ethnic diversity at the more senior levels of our organisation, and we have implemented changes in our recruitment process to ensure they are completely transparent and fair for everyone, irrespective of their ethnicity or any other personal characteristic.
We will continue to monitor our practices and their effectiveness, and we will make further changes as required.
